The most important part of the show is of course the catwalk! When visiting the venue we had to decide what we wanted the catwalk to look like and where we would source this from. The venue offered us the use of their black staging blocks that they use for their fashion shows, however we felt that a white catwalk would be much more flattering for the collections. Therefore we had to source the catwalk from elsewhere to get what we wanted.

Emphasis Event Production Ltd is based in Southampton and provides lighting, staging, sound systems and special effects for all events. They quoted us a very competitive price for a white T shaped catwalk and we would recommend their service to everyone. The day before the show a team from the company will be setting up the catwalk and covering it in a protective layer to keep it clean. During the day of the show their are a few shows taking place before the Graduate showcase in the evening - the protective layer will be kept on throughout these shows so that the catwalk for the evening is not marked. The team will return after the shows during the day to remove the protective layer and set up for the evening show. After the show they will then return to take the catwalk down so that the venue is cleared for the next day. Emphasis have been extremely helpful and will take care of everything to do with the catwalk, making the day that bit easier for us!
