There really are so many different themes
and styles out there for a wedding, it is almost an impossible task to decide.
For any of you vintage and shabby chic lovers out there, there are millions of
inspiring ideas out there to make your dream wedding come true. A vintage
wedding can include old-fashioned items, possible passed down within your
family. The main colours used are predominantly pastels, with some rich
undertones. Just look at the arrangement of gorgeous flowers and vintage frames
below, so simple, yet so so beautiful!
I guess one of the best things about going
with a vintage wedding is theme is that you can be a little more daring with
what you do. Of course you can be daring with any theme, but a vintage theme is
almost daring in itself. Unless you do vintage well, it’s probably best to
steer clear of this theme. The imagery below shows some really creative vintage
ideas, that just work perfectly for the theme. The hanging china cups filled
with flowers are relatively simple to make, and the impact of them is massive.
I can’t say I’ve ever been to a wedding with hanging china cups, or even better
the hanging lanterns filled with flowers. Simply stunning.
There is so much more inspiration out
there, but these are some of my favourite images I’ve found on Pinterest. The
cake is perfect for a vintage do, the tin cans add a real character, the frame
is fun and relevant, the postcard invite is perfection, the table décor is
scrummy and finally the bike. That bike – I LOVE IT!
