Beautiful World Tents are lovingly the
South Easts tipi wedding specialists, and have carried out over 700 gorgeous
weddings. They have been established for almost 10 years and I now have the
pleasure of working for them as a Tipi Weddings Co-ordinator.
Every few months an open day is held to
show off the amazing tipis in all their glory and give couples who’ve booked or
who are thinking of booking the opportunity to see what their wedding will or
could look like. The lovely tipis are filled with the even lovelier furnishings
and finishing touches to show off a variety of styles. Two weeks into my new
job I got to experience my first open day and see the beauty of the tipis for
myself – they are truly magical.
The usual set up for an open day is three Giant
Hat Tipis and one smaller tipi called a Kungsornen. This set up enables every
style on offer to be shown. In one tent we lay out the more traditional and
classis look of round tables and chairs, teamed with an elegant candelabra
draped in flowers. In the centre of this traditional tent hangs a stunning
wrought iron chandelier, which adds a true touch of glamour. Anyone looking to stick
to traditions with an old fashioned, classic wedding would be sold on this
gorgeous layout.
Next to this the complete opposite, a more
relaxed and rustic setting. Beautiful, chunky long tables with benches add a
very informal and simplistic look, whilst the soft reindeer hides placed on the
benches add extra character and bring a real cosiness. In the centre a glowing
open fire burns away, providing heaps of warmth and a unique atmosphere. Not
many couples can say they had an open fire in the centre of their dining and
they are also perfect for toasting some marshmallows – yummy!
No wedding is complete without a party. The
dance tipi is complete with a dance floor, stage, fairy lights, glitter ball
and bunting – the perfect combination for a boogie. Later on when the night
draws in and the fairy lights begin to shine the effect of the glitter ball
against the canvas looks absolutely breathtaking. It would be a party to
remember.
Finally the smaller Kungsornen is
transformed into a cosy, inviting ‘lounge tent’. Cube cushion seats and low
level tables make up a fun and comfy relaxed lounge area, teamed with a couple
of black leather sofas and pretty cushions. Our handmade oak topped bar and a
smaller open fire finish the chilled out look off perfectly.
