One of the designers was not available to help put her designs in her charity shop window, so we went along to lend a helping hand. We were given one side of the window to play with, which included one manikin and hangers on the wall. As there were two outfits we chose one to go on the manikin and one to be hung on the wall. The skirt made of ties was put on the manikin with the neck piece also made from ties - a white top from the store was added underneath this as this went well with the whole outfit and finished it off nicely. The other outfit was placed on the hangers next to the manikin, with the top placed just above the skirt to show that the outfit went together. Finally two posters were placed on the window with information about the designer and information about the event on Saturday 7th June.

Enliven Fashion Project - Setting up the Trail
Yesterday we went to Eastleigh to help set up some of the trail for the Enliven Fashion Project. As part of the project the up cycled designs from the 11 designers taking part are placed in the windows of the charity shops they worked with for the community to see. Some of the designs will also be placed in the Swan Centre in Eastleigh. The trail will be left up until the week before the event, giving people a taste of what's to come on the day. It also further promotes the charity shops and the designers themselves.
