Now that it's 2015 it's finally the year of lots of lovely peoples weddings - exciting! Included in this is my sister, and the time is certainly flying by. A lot of her wedding will be homemade by ourselves, purely because we are a very creative family and it's just a big bonus that homemade decorations are much cheaper than bought decorations, as well as being much more personal. One of the main parts of the wedding is the table centrepieces. On Sunday we had a wedding day, with the intention of building a mock centre piece to make sure she likes it before making them all. In a previous post I showed how the trees we bought were transformed from a winter wonderland piece to a warm alpine piece. We spent the day making paper flowers to attach to the tree, and to put in the clear baubles that will hang from the tree. It's a working progress and we have a bit of tweaking to do to make it perfect, but it's coming along nicely.
Watch out for a blog post showing off the finished mock tree soon!
